Prestige Music Will Not Be Held Responsible for any instrument undertaking repairs, that has not been properly maintained, which may result in damage.
Work takes 7 – 10 working days, However, during peak times (holidays) it may take longer, due to the volume of repairs that need doing;
Flute / Piccolo
General Service from $180 for Flutes, or Piccolo’s

- Overall examination
- Internal Cleaning
- Checking seating of pads
- Oil Action
- Sanitise Lip Plate
- Checking setting & fitting of head cork
- Test Operation
Includes:
- New Head Cork $31
- Full Repad from $320
- General Service includes replacing one pad if necessary. Additional pads are $30 each
Clarinet, Bass Clarinet / Oboe / Cor Anglais / Bassoon
General Service:
- Clarinet from $180
- Bass Clarinet from $200
- Oboe from $180
- Bassoon from $220
Includes:
- Overall Examination
- Check fit of tenons (cork joints)
- Internal Cleaning
- Recork thumb rest (if required)
- Oil action
- Sanitise mouthpiece
- Test Operation
Extras:
- Recork 1 or 2 Tenons (each) $30
- Record 3 or 4 Tenons (each) $25
- Full Repad from $320
- General Service includes replacing one pad if necessary,
- Additional pads are $30 each
Please Note: Any bent keys, dents, or soldering are charged at an extra cost according to difficulty.
NB: We have a minimum charge of $180 for all other work although minor work, eg: easy removal of a stuck mouthpiece or flute foot joint will be charged at a lesser figure.
